Can you learn how to drive a car online? Sure, but would you be able to then get into a car and know how to drive? Bartending is the same way. You MUST practice, practice, practice with the proper equipment and tools. You NEED face-to-face instruction in the proper environment to learn how it feels to be behind the bar.
How much can a bartender make? (back to top)
There is a wide range of salaries in the bartending field. You may get an hourly rate or it can be a standard “shift pay”. Many of JC Bartending Graduates are earning on average $25 - $50 per hour including tips. As time passes and you gain more experience, you can expect to earn more tips during your shift.

We do not provide credit for past experience or course credits.
If I am already TABC Certified, do I have to take the TABC class? (back to top)
No. Your course session will only be 28 hours in length and you will still graduate with your class and receive the same graduation packet and certificate of completion.

You will receive an official Certificate of Completion in Bartending to show your prospective employers.

All student complaints should be directed to the School Director and/or Owner such that issues can be resolved immediately.
JC Bartending Academy has a Certificate of Approval from the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC). The TWC-assigned school number is: S3597. JC Bartending Academy's program is approved by the TWC. Students must address their concerns about this school or any of its educational programs by following the greivance process outlined in the school's catalog. Students dissatisfied with the school's response to their complaint or who are not able to file a complaint with the school, can file a formal complaint with TWC, as well as with other relevant agencies or accreditors, if applicable.
